There was once a time in my life that was really struggling with forgiving myself. I finally had to just start confessing out loud with the mercy I would have given anyone else, "Beth - you are human! You aren't perfect. You can't earn holiness. I forgive you. I chose to forgive you." I finally did forgive myself. I pray you will too. (((hugs)))

I admire everyone who home schools. Right now, our daughter has started Kindergarten at a private Christian school. It goes K-12 so we plan on her attending this school until graduation. I can't imagine having to send her to a place that doesn't support our beliefs. We are truly blessed.

I am so glad you posted this. I pray this post will drop right in the lap of ladies who need to see it. I have had two male friendships during my marriage that were out of balance! But by the grace of God they didn't turn into something that couldn't be reversed. Now, I am very careful. I don't chat with men one on one.

Great post. Nothing we "do" defines us -- or it shouldn't. When I went through years of bondage, I lost all self-esteem. I couldn't function as a normal adult. I had to REBUILD who I was on God's Word. He is my reputation.

We really should do everything with a cheerful heart as we are doing it for the Lord. I need to remember that as I grumble about clothes and toys in the floor. Or stacks of my husbands hats resting behind his chair.
