Nice weekend!
Tell me more about the seaweed though: why not give him some next time?

You should really have a soft bed for him just by your feet at your desk. It's lovely working with your feet tucked in just under their chest. ;-)

Very good post and presentation Tara!

Let's hope with such messages coming from more angles it will start to sink in- there are mutual benefits, but only if neither takes the other for a fool.

You are doing exactly the right thing by concentrating on keeping him engaged with reading and giving him more to read. On the other hand if he is getting told off in school for not reading the books he's getting then that makes it a bit more complicated, because you don't want to set an example of defiance against school either...not easy! We are in a similar situation. Not yet made up my mind which tract I'm going to use.

That's a fab Silent Sunday post: really does show what your week has been about.

Hope she is as good as gold and you are recovering well.

Happy New year Lovely! What eventful holidays, sounds like a great opportunity to huddle as a family of four before the newcomer breaks the peace. ;-)

I love the bag and look forward to the pregnancy update.

No, you're not the only one: we sanded our kitchen floorboards because it got to me how crap they were & I want the kitchen finished for Christmas.

Fab! You are such a great mum to be making them their own advent calendar! These are the small things that make a world of a difference to them.
