I don't use mine in Summer, but I do in Winter, although I will make use of radiators too. Especially useful when muddy sports kit comes home from school and expected back the next day. I wouldn't want to get rid of it. However I do make sure that I regularly clean out the operating unit underneath, as that helps minimise operating time
