He is hard working, honest, faithful, etc. All of the above. He is a great mentor to younger men and doesn't tolerate disrespect. He also was a Marine for six years. "Always Faithfull"

I have been married nearly 16 years. Your blog is a constant help to me. I have never felt you are a hypocrite or arrogant. Keep doing what you are doing. You are truly a blessing.

Our marriage is an unequally yoked marriage. He isn't an unbeliever, but doesn't go to church or pray. He believes in God and believes that Jesus died for his sins. Sometimes, it causes arguments and strife. I am working on letting him lead. I pray for him and us daily.

We have a good sex life. We also talk and tease about it here and there. It isn't always possible, but we just let things happen when they do.

I think it is also a sign of how your relationship is at the time. Even with all the mess of life for us right now, we still make the most of our marriage.

I am 42. My baby is eight. I had my tubes tied about a year after I had her because of health problems and I didn't want to have another baby and have to be on Medicaid. Many nights I have not slept because I have regretted the surgery. I still regret it.

Did I do what was right? Probably. Did I let go and let God? No

But it has come to my attention so much lately that young people come to my Rooster and I for advise. We have tons of "adopted" 20 something people that didn't have a Dad, or took off, or just messed up. Is this God's way of using us for his good? I really think so. It startled me so much when a neighbor upstairs said "Thanks Mom" after I talked to him for a few minutes.

Do I still feel the empty feeling that I missed out on more children? Oh yes, so much so. Has God chose to use me in another way? Oh yes.

By being a Stay at Home Mom and Home educator, I am home and available.

Go figure this one. LOL

When people ask me what I want for my daughter, I no longer tell them that I just want her to be happy. I want her to listen to God's call. No one ever said that life will be all happy.
