OMG YES! Have you done Snow Lake? Go early or on a weekday (it gets crowded). So gorgeous. You can hike on to Gem Lake to make a day of it. I also love Mt. Pilchuck - somewhat challenging, and AMAZEBALLS views. Go on a clear day, if you can. And, of course, making the drive to Rainier and hiking the Skyline trail is the ultimate summer hike :)

you should be fine using the Bob for just running and I HIGHLY recommend getting a Graco snap n' go stroller for everything else - they're cheap (probably even cheaper if you can get one from craigslist/consignment store), easy to open/close and are nice and compact for cruising the aisles of stores and storing in your car :) And, yes, highly recommend the Ergo as well. I did the Bjorn for my first kiddo and when I got the Ergo for my second it was a REVELATION. I sold mine on craigslist for $40-50, otherwise I would've given it to ya!

Awesome job! I got to see that shirt in person on Monday when Meghan wore it and I gotta say, they'd better have similar ones next year, 'cuz i'm running it. I, too, LOVE the idea of a 12- 15K distance, might be my new fave. I really enjoyed the Seattle's Best 15K last year, and would have done it this year, but it's a bit soon after Eugene - you should do it! It's around Lake Union, small, not too expensive and they have cute medals :) And truly, I think the Hot Chocolate 15K was worth the price tag - really good fun.

I've yet to try Evolution Fresh! I think you'd really like the Cafe Yumm sauce that Sarah C. goes on about, grab some the next time you're at Whole Foods :) It's made with chickpeas, so sorta tahini-ish.. if that makes sense.

great job on not giving up, 'cuz that's TOTALLY what I did after that hill! I knew it was coming, and dealt with it fine last year. For some reason, this year it just did me in :(
