OH is probably right in that the UK is f**ked - I lived in hope that SOMEONE would see the necessity of really pruning government expenditure & paying down debt. However spending only increases, cuts are 'deferred' and any savings that the UK actually achieves are hoovered away by the EU without a word of thanks.

Frankly, I see no way forward for the country.
