That's exactly where my head went first too! I think 'ambiguously good' Q made for all the best Q episodes (at least 'Tapestry' and 'All Good Things').

It's pretty clear at this point that the mane 6 are basically Celestia's spec ops unit. Ladies and gentlemen, i present: Lauren Faust's Rainbow Six.

She was asking people not to call other people 'retarded' and to not derail the coments into an argument about pony porn, following an article focusing on Lauren Faust. Both of these things seem completely reasonable to me.

Haha! Remember, this is the guy who wore Skrillex's personal mobile number on his t-shirt at the Grammys... he is a master troll. It's very possible he's doing it for the lulz.

But women in comics *are* the exception to the rule. There is a massive gender disparity in both the industry and the readership. This anthology is an attempt to change that, by holding out a welcoming hand to women readers and creators, and illustrating that despite the (not unearned) perception of comics as a guy's thing, there is a place for women in the fandom and the industry. Not highlighting the gender of the creators in the collection would completely defeat the purpose of the anthology.

It's clear you and Kris think the fact that there is a place in comics for women should be self-evident, and that's commendable. In a perfect world, there wouldn't be a need for this anthology, but the relative scarcity of women in the comics industry suggests that we're yet a ways off.
