Good luck. It'll be interesting to see your progress, and also how you measure your progress. I set goals this year that were easily to track numerically. I'm hoping that keeps me more motivated to complete the goals. (so far so good!)

Interesting. I've tried many different sprays and methods over the years, and have come to the personal conclusion that the best way to keep a shower clean is to keep it dry. Mildew and mold and the discoloring on the tile and all that happens mainly when the shower is damp. Obviously showers are going to get wet, but running the exhaust fan during and after the shower, keeping the door/curtain open afterward to allow air to circulate, and even giving the edges a quick wipe seem to do a lot more and take just as much or even less effort than all that is involved with spraying it down.

I've started selling a few things on Facebook Marketplace. Just had a post go up today about my experiences. It's definitely good to start selling things.

All good ideas. We were more dilligent on watering the grass only when it needed it. Of course that meant we actually went up in one billing period because it didn't rain for weeks, but I made extra sure that on days when it did rain that I would turn off the sprinklers from their scheduled cycle.

If you have leftovers, put them in a see-through container. If you put something away wrapped in foil or in a container that you can't see into, you're likely to forget what's inside. If you can see it, you'll be more prone to using it before it goes bad.

That's super scary. Sending good thoughts for a fast and (most important) full recovery.

We go to the beach a lot. One of my favorite things is playing with my kids. They love to play ball (catch or monkey-in-the-middle) or we often build in the sand together.

You're right there are so many different ways to use YouTube. I use it to look up home repairs all the time. We're going to Disney World in a couple of weeks and my wife has been watching video after video about dining, ride, and other tricks that will help us beat some of the crowds and get some of the must-have eats and snacks.

I once had a job where I taught my boss (the owner) to say no. I found out that he never did. If a client asked him to do something that took three weeks in two weeks, he agreed. If they asked him to work overnight, he would. When they started asking me, I would say no, but calmly explain the alternatives and the benefits, and turns out they were cool with things. My boss told me later that he almost had a heart attack when he had first saw me saying no, but that it opened his eyes to being able to do it and still come out making the clients happy. It is a fine line, of course, you can't just say no to everything, but if the situation is right, by all means, say no.

Great goals. It is important to remember that with big things like 'getting healthy', 'losing weight', or 'saving money', that the success comes not in making big changes all at once, but instead comes from making smaller changes over time that you stick with. Hopefully the things that you're doing now are not the end but only the beginning. If you approach it with that mindset and move forward accordingly, you'll likely not only meet but exceed your goals. Best of luck.
