I completely agree-- finding living books can be intimidating. I have also found a lot of living books in The Well Trained Mind and others' booklists.

I love toddlers' and preschoolers' pronunciations! I miss them so much when they outgrow them. My current fav around here is "puwple bewwies." Blessings! Annie

Habou's dinner looks delicious! And I'm with you: Amy's calendar is pretty. (I sure hope the odd tool wasn't for cleaning ears.)

The Pippo jumping is my favorite. I was all set to thank Rosie of Last Year, too, but I packed the candles away and can't find them. So I am sure I will thank Rosie of Last Year next year, when she will be Rosie of Two Years Ago. (Look at that, you're like a Dickens Ghost!)

Love the hydrangea story! Thanks for all the contentment today-- I needed it!

Love those roly poly arms! My big kids all got huge(r) the minute a baby was born, too. And I love that you gave full "credit" to your helpers in the clean-out of the study.

Loved the Will quote. Feel free to remind him that while power-washing the deck is his job, deciding what goes ON it is not. =)

Bridget's room is beautiful! And 17 days is too long, even if you have been apart before. Ever.

Hallelujah! I love the bag check story, and the fact that you find baby-feet funny. Congratulations to Deirdre and John-- sometimes the hardest thing (and best) to do as a parent is to let go of the plan. Sounds like they did that admirably. Blessings!
