Maybe instead of a college fund for children, you could contribute to a Junior ISA for them. That has the benefit of not being tied into education only. (Some of the US funding plans have to be used for educational expenses or you lose money/ have massive penalties.) The Junior ISA could be used for university fees or other expenses to lower the amount needed for a loan. Or they might be able to use it for a flat deposit to build some equity while in school (either by having roommates and/or using their maintenance loans to cover the mortgage costs). It would really depend on location for the costs.

I'd probably get my daughter some new clothes in the size she's moving up to.

Tickets to see the first 20 minutes or so of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. We had serious problems getting to the show and missed the start. It was the part I most wanted to see, so I'm a bit heartbroken.

I like the old lady in A Squash and a Squeeze. I can see a lot in common with her.

Based on your Strava posts (and things I've heard at my church), I think I know what school you're referring to. I hope the changes make a difference and that you all adjust easily.

Start with canned tuna, since that is something many children like. Then move to fresh tuna and other varieties.

I love stationery and notebooks. I'm always trying to be organized, and both are so helpful.

I think this sounds quite intriguing. It's good to look at life through a different lens at times. I think it would be quite fun to see how this game works.
