I agree, and I love the saying I've heard that says do not defame the dead. I think PG wouldn't get readers as fired up on this topic except for the fact that she does represent herself as a historian of sorts, as well as so many readers really do believe what's in her books is truth. Over and above that, I personally find her writing, particularly the latter books, pretty underwhelming. Give me Penman or Chadwick any day of the week.

Michele, I can read the comments at work with IE8, but at home with IE9 they were a jumbled mess.

Not being a parent (except for the kittehs), the book didn't interst me much, but the comments on the Amazon reviews sure did :p

Pssst. Take little kid to the Stonehenge Replica just east of the Maryhill Museum (Columbia Gorge). Convince her it's the real thing. Photo shop it. She'll never know the difference :D

Love the shot of Luke and Laura. Did you know Geary's still on the show? Talk about a reminder of how old one was...

I've been on one cruise and I am thoroughly ashamed to admit that I didn't seek out their library. If they had one. We were too busy eating :)

Oh, I am so glad I wasn't playing this when I read Land of the Painted Caves. I'd be dead by now. PS, these video reviews of the previous five books are hilarious, http://www.youtube.com/user/jacktaylor1983#g/u
