Yeah, I ended up making an XXL XXL soundtrack playlist on Spotify so I could include all the songs they didn't include.

I got the humor in your original post! I don't think you've failed at all.

I live in a walking city, and am at the point where I only buy shoes from REI these days. All the hiking brands have started making fairly nice-looking work-safe shoes, but they're also flats with great support and durability. Plus, REI is amazing about refunds (I know a girl who used to work there and they had a customer who'd return his shoes every year for a new pair. Which I don't suggest you do, but if you did, they'd still let you return them!)

I am listening to this right now, and it is wonderful. I had no idea this existed!

What kind of record player do you have? I'd like to look into used stuff but I'm worried about buying something that's close to wearing down, since I hear that it's pretty pricey to replace parts on an old player.

And I mean, the 70s/80s had some great music! It'd be a great place to start a collection.

If it's not thoughtful, I'm rage-quitting Gunnerkrigg. Which I hope I don't have to do, because it's generally been wonderful.

That is a wonderful price. All the Bluetooth stuff I've seen is quite expensive, but it's all done by quirky speaker companies, so maybe I should be looking at Logitech.

I would listen to you talk about this for hours! My current avenue for serendipitous discovery is 8tracks, since it limits you from skipping too many songs and doesn't sort things super well.

I think that if I were to acquire a record player for free, and it plugged into my existing speakers, I might pick up the habit. Starting from scratch is pricey, though.

Peter Gabriel would make me cry, I think... although I just got into Sufjan Stevens, and explored his discography a few weeks ago, so maybe I would enjoy that :P

Elton John, Queen, and the Eagles are my go-tos. Shorter discographies, but I'm still really into them: Janelle Monae and Corinne Bailey Rae.

Oh man, I hadn't heard of Martin Logan before, and I just spent the last twenty minutes browsing their website and sighing.

I do like to pick and choose and shuffle sometimes, but there are days that you just want to sit down and methodically enjoy one artist, album by album. You appreciate so much more that way!
