Similar to others above, I'm disturbed by the nature of this bullying. One of my son's friends has a life-threatening peanut allergy. I'm intrigued by the idea of a reform camp. Thanks for sharing this book, although I don't think I'm the best reader for it.

What a unique twist on Romeo and Juliet--with the setting and the use of verse. This sounds fantastic!

Although I haven't read any of Jo Knowles' books, I've heard her speak twice--once on a panel at MOSCBWI and again on characters at NESCBWI, so I expect it to be very well drawn. Also, I fear it's probably heart-breaking, which is why I haven't rushed out to read them (I don't like to cry!). Thanks for sharing!

This sounds like an important story. I haven't read much verse, either, but the few I've read have been powerful. I'll sit out the giveaway as my TBR pile is so backed up. Thanks for sharing!

I hadn't heard of this one. Sounds like a powerful book! But please don't add me to the giveaway--still working my way through my TBR list!

I've heard a ton about this book, too, but I'm still so far behind in my reading I'll bow out of the giveaway. Thanks for sharing!

I heard Mac Barnett talk about the first book on Kids Place Live last year, and it sounded hilarious. I'm sure this one is, too!

I hadn't heard of this series. Sounds like something younger kids would enjoy! And I like the comment about the side of history. Thanks for sharing!

This sounds interesting, although my TBR pile is rather lengthy at the moment, so no need to add me to the giveaway. Thanks for sharing!

Humor and mystery are always fun in middle grade. Sounds like an interesting read, but as I also have a towering TBR pile, no need to enter me in the drawing :).
