Being able to sit on a boat on the river, with nothing to do. Or sit near a lake again with nothing to do. Okay, anywhere close to the water, with nothing to do. There is something so incredibly peaceful and reinvigorating at the same time about being around water. And you would think living in Seattle I would be able to do this more not less. Maybe I just need to put a kiddie pool on the patio and pretend it's a lake.

Based on experience last summer moving from GA to WA ~ If you'll be travelling in multiple vehicles (which I'm guessing you will), invest in a set of walkie talkies. There are parts of the country where there was no cell service and had it not been for those, we wouldn't have been able to communicate pit stops & food breaks. And if you can, plan a day to stop by one of the many national monuments or parks just for a break. We did a day at Yellowstone and it was fabulous and re-energizing. Made the rest of the transition a little bit easier.

The responsibility of being an "adult" when some days I really don't want to be, Dean's job interview today and tomorrow, trying to make a new business work on a frayed shoestring budget, writing, everyone I love being across the country, so far away....

I have to agree with the other commenters already. I read in Google reader and I always look forward to whatever it is I see pop up there from you. Just share your heart - quirky, funny, serious, prayers... yeah, I'm really helpful with ideas. :-)

Anywhere on the water or near the water. I love being out on a boat with the gentleness of the waves rocking back and forth. I always sleep better after a day like that too. I think it's due to the sensation of feeling like you're being rocked to sleep.

I think my last comment got eaten. But my suggestion was chefs. They create art with food, not only for the eyes, but including the other senses as well. Thanks for the food for thought.

44. Not adapting as quickly as I used to with these time changes. Varicose veins (ouch!!) And that nagging thought that I'm not getting any younger, feeling like I've wasted too many years, and wondering how I can reclaim some of them.

Tell her to just enjoy being spoiled by those that love her. And that it was great to meet her this past week. I wish we had a chance to spend more time together. She is an amazing lady.
