The issue of timing aside--not that it's insignificant--but I am whimpering with empathy over the amount of the payment. How few of us freelancers even blinked at that amount in this parody-but-not-really? Math was never my strength, but unless she wrote the 2 fab pieces in 3 hours total....The gifs! The activists! The time spent waiting for the stylists to return emails! Figuring out where Beyonce can best change her gender! Sigh.
