I agree the older women have totally dropped the ball. I come from a divorced home. I have NO example of what a good marriage is supposed to look like and have figured it out on my own in 17 1/2 years of marriage. But it would be nice if the older women in the church were willing to mentor.

I will never understand the mean spirited "believers" who come along to tear someone down. I had one last week who was just outright mean. I've had others that were plain sick (pedophiles who targeted my book on sexual abuse). I get the non-believers doing it, sort of, but for those who profess Christ as their savior, it is unacceptable. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Satan likes to use what ever means he can to tear down, sometimes that comes in packages that look Christian. Keep up the good work. You must be doing something right to be a target on satan's board!

It's so easy to put on a smile and pretend we're okay, isn't it? I do the same thing with my husband. I didn't talk to him for months about our miscarriage. There was some part of me that was worried he wouldn't "get it" and it just hurt too much. Thank you for sharing your story and encouragement!
