Kate, it was an ordeal! I'm glad your friend was spared, too. We are recovering. I have a bunch of friends and family that went through Hurricane Sandy -- I'm still in awe of all of you that went through that. My heart broke when that was happening and I know there are many who are still recovering. Still praying for you guys.

Thank you, Kir! I know, it's amazing how fast they grow. This baby above - my "baby" baby, I've been hugging a lot lately because he's is fast become not a "baby" anymore.

I am looking forward to the joy he'll share. I'm really hoping it is going well for him. That's a neat story about your daughter -- it'd be fun if my 8 year old grew up to do the same.

I think the worrying is turning out to be for nothing. I've received an email this morning from the hubby and it sounds like my 8 year old is having a great time. :-)) So is the hubby. :-))
