It's not bad enough I can't even find a job with my library degree, and now you want to penalize me two points on a quiz, as well? :(

I support a few animal, nature, and conservation organizations that I believe most people have heard of, as well as Doctors Without Borders. I also pledge on cats that are on death row in various shelters around the country, as this helps encourage rescues to pull them, knowing that at least some of their expenses are covered.

Aside from sending money and art supplies, I like going to their gallery openings and their shop and talking to some of the artists. So many of these artists are dealing with heavier burdens than I think I could deal with, and their art is a lifeline for them, a way to cope and a way to express themselves, and they take such pride in what they create. And rightfully so! There's so much energy and creativity in the art I see there.

So earlier today I was all "This menopause business is BULLSHIT!"
But now I see this list and it's not so bad after all. I just needed a change of perspective.
