Yayyyyyy I love this book. It's an all-time favorite. I am 40 years old and I own two copies and reread it about once a year. I was planning to make a "What Would Claudia Kincaid Do?" t-shirt at one point. And the first time I went to the Met Museum (sorry, I'm a singer, "The Met" is the opera) at 23 or so all I could think about was this book.

And now looking at all these other comments, I can't believe I haven't read any of Konigsberg's other books! That is at odds with my m.o. as a kid, which was normally to bomb through an author's entire output if I liked one book.
