Anybody else click on Hillary Clinton's name to see if she had secretly written a piece for The Toast before?

I became aware of The Toast a little too late for my liking, but I've very much enjoyed coming here since I learned of it. It's the friendliest, most amiable, comment section in all the land. Well, I assume, because it's the only comment section I read any more.

Thank you to Nicole and everybody else responsible for the site. I look forward to continuing to enjoy and learn from your unique brand of humor and decency on Twitter. I'm happy for you to have created such a wonderful niche in an internet that is not always such a happy place.

We had a decent boss/employee relationship before that trip. I was pretty well done with him after it.

A couple years ago, my boss made me take a trip with him to work on a project with our consultant. We left on Sunday evening and got to the hotel at about 10pm. At some point during the trip, it came out that he had reserved just one room. Already miffed about losing a Sunday at home, I was really not happy to find out I'd be sharing a room with him.

So we made the four hour drive, got to the room, and went to check-in. As we walked up to the desk, I had a flash nightmare about the clerk telling us they were booked and through a clerical error, the only room left was a king-sized bed. Thankfully, that was not the case and the room at least had 2 queen-sized beds.

My wife works for a corporation (I work for a municipality) where people travel quite a lot and every time I told one of her co-workers about having to share a room, they were mortified.

My dogs are relieved to find that even the gorgeous Sansa can take photos that make her look goofy.

Look, I'm the first to say we may have gone a little overboard on attention to hygiene. I drink from public water fountains. I've let my dog lick my popsicle and then continued eating it.

But damn, using the dog's water dish as a serving bowl? For company?

Those things I'm describing are my choices about things I'm ingesting. When I have company or am cooking food other people might be eating, I do what I can to make sure what I'm serving would pass any health inspection.

LOL. I saw that! On USA, I think. You might want to consider just trimming the scene down at that point.

Perhaps my favorite basic cable edit of all time is the complete removal of the Gimp from Pulp Fiction. Just not in it. Never happened.

Re: Sansa lying on the floor. I've seen this trick from my own big dog.

"What you mean I in the way? How could I be in the way? I tiny puppy."

Wait. Those can't be real?
