I love winter shots like this, and I love winter sports, like cross-country skiing, that get you out and enjoying these landscapes!

I didn't make it to Casa Batllo when I was in Barcelona. After seeing all the detail in your photo, I wish I had!

I love bread pudding, and had several for dessert when I was in England earlier this summer. I also got to try a type of pie I'd never heard of before--homity pie, and it was delicious--washed down with some spicy ginger beer!

What great photos. For some reason, I've always wanted to go to Mt. Rushmore (I even tried to talk my family into a last-minute road trip), but I haven't made it yet.

Florence is one of my favorite cities! I love the timing of this photo--as the sun is going down with the lights on the bridge.

As someone who sunburns easily, I am in complete agreement with the sunscreen tip! In cities, a lot of major attractions are near neighborhoods, so if it's crowded, I like to start walking away toward a neighborhood. That can be a great way to see interesting architecture, how people live, stop and talk to people, find small shops and nice cafes, and come across some great site you didn't know about.
