It's a good thing you didn't stray too far from the LTE. It can get really dire if you start to get that chunky low bandwidth digital noise when you watch Netflix on your phone.

We played a lot of pretend keno at Vegas buffets when I was a kid. It also helps everyone learn how hard it is to win at that game.

There's only one reason that we have Thanksgiving a month earlier than our American cousins and it doesn't make any sense this year because of the lockout.

Victoria is a great little place to visit. In addition to the nice harbour they have some amazing food spots too! I used to take those sea planes every week. If you get a chance to fly on one try to book one of the 'twin otters' with the propellers on the wings because they seem to get less engine exhaust into the cabin.

If you only have a short time in a place I think these tours are essential. Each time I've taken I've found something cool that I didn't expect to see. Plus, there will always be a few places that you might not make it to on foot or driving on your own.
