This is one of my favorites of 2013, it just totally took me by surprise. Although I agree with you about the book not having a lot of emotions at the big moments. When the big thing happened at the end I had to go back and re-read it to make sure what I thought happened actually happened since Lynn's reaction was so muted. I did think she become more emotional over the course of the story, but it was from like a 0 to a 2 rather than a 0 to a 8 or 9. Great review!

You guys both have such great (unique!) things on your lists! Christmas is such a good one, I feel like I just see Christmas stuff and I'm automatically just happier.

I've never read any of Kiera Cass's books before but that cover just sucks me in (I actually love all her covers). And I'm so excited that Isla will take place in NYC!

I definitely recommend Where the Stars Still Shine, Rose Under First, and All Our Yesterdays. I also had Roomies on my list and I'm excited for Not a Drop to Drink!
