David Stone Martin is a genius, no doubt. Thanks for bringing him up. I followed you suggestion and put one of the two Charlie Parker albums (With Strings). Although by the cover alone, I would have gone for Billi Holiday or Lester Young. Or Artie Shaw. Or West Coast Jazz.
