Awww... Happy Birthday Jesse! Hope you've had a lovely day together! It just gets better, watching them grow.

It was such a lovely day, wasn't it? Did you also find your dinner to be decidedly average as a result though?

Oh Emma! I feel your pain! I've been avoiding potty learning as I just haven't been able to deal with the contents! I'm starting to feel better - at 27 sodding weeks, thanks for that?! - so we'll be trying again in the coming weeks, but urgh. What a pain. I'd be thrilled to have K out of nappies by the time the baby came along though!

(P.S. It was good to see you the other day, but I felt really bad that I didn't actually chat to you before you left! Sorry!!)

I love that 'reason seven' quote - really true! It was a great experience and I just love my tattoos too :) Love the explanation of yours - not that its required, but that you shared it anyway. :)

Lol. You made me giggle, but you are right - practical learning is so valuable. And if you can include quality family time (i.e. zoo trips) then why not!

So true honey! Specially the bit about men rings true for me now - one of my oldest friends in the UK has started dating a new guy and since then has stood me up four times, and dropped out of plans countless times and now won't even be doing anything with me for my birthday or K's birthday, despite the fact that I'm going away for a while. It hurts, but what can I do.

Well - I'm glad you've had a good, if emotional, day. Hugs to you babes.

I've only recently realised how much one very small incident in my childhood has actually affected me my whole life. And tonight was another example of that effect. I was meant to go to a lunch on Friday but one person couldn't make it, so the person organising the lunch at my request has rescheduled it - for a day I can't make. It made me feel so unimportant. And what did I do? Sat and ate a tub of icecream all the way through and now I just feel sick. You're very right and very brave. Well done for overcoming :)
