Shirley Hughes, I loved her Alfie and Annie Rose books, and later My Naughty Little Sister, and my sister loved Tales of Trotter Street.

And Dick King-Smith, I especially liked his Sophie stories as a child but I think I read all of his.

Oh and Jaqueline Wilson, I read all of hers as a kid too.

We don't get the green skittles here, what are they? (ok so we don't get anything except the other skittles here, but love skittles)

The only Dave Eggers' I've read is A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, which was just ugh. I sort of like the sound of The Circle, but, no, can't quite bring myself to invest in it.

Have you really left Harry behind if you have to do interviews saying you've left Harry behind?

The new film, well J.K is writing the script, so I have high hopes (also more background info...yay!)

1Q84 intimidates me too. I love Murakami usually but I read book one and it was a struggle, it got better towards the end but I can't quite bring myself to tackle book 2

I love, love, loved Caitlin Moran's How to be a Woman (like to the level that I developed a kind of girl crush), so I hope you enjoy Moranology (which I have been dropping hints about left right and centre since it came out, seeing as I'm on a book buying ban)
