All I can say is that I feel exactly the same way. Keep writing, don't edit yourself and see what happens! I bet it's going to be brilliant. Sometimes times of change bring the best surprises. You are not alone in your journey.

So very beautifully written! I went through this very same thing with my daughter (who is now eight). She's still very much a daddy's girl and I'm so grateful for their little love affair :)

Every time any of my children use the potty I think it's magical! I would've loved to be in on the marketing discussion when they were branding the Princess potty: "We've got to tie the princess magic in with the whole process of pooping! C'mon guys get creative! How about Making my own magic--now that really says it all!"

I had a similar situation with a constipated kiddo (and fear of pooping). Our ped recommended adding Miralax to her water or juice. It worked wonders. Like magic! ;-)
