Happy Birthday to Lily Ann! I love birth stories:) I read my boys their birth story every year the night before their birthday (since that is when it all started…). Love remembering these stories - like they were yesterday. Best days of my life!

Giggles and hugs are the best! Discipline is SO hard! I heard a quote that says "Mean parents raise great kids". I interpret "mean" as not being really mean - but being "disciplined". Makes it easier to discipline when i know it will help them become better people in the end.

Totally agree - and think it's important to do what you feel. I feel I'm in the exact same situation - sometimes the posts get done, sometimes the comments get responded to in due time, and i try to read as much as I can - but don't feel bad if life gets in the way. Blogging needs to be a pleasure and a reward - not a stress. I find limiting it to a couple times a week is working! You will find your balance. xo

You need to post that panini recipe - looks so good, and looks like it would appeal to the masses over here. I'm glad your girls are not seriously sick - and this may sound weird, but I like it when my kids are a *little* sick and we have to cancel activities and stay home to rest and snuggle. One of the few times they snuggle. I think your idea of saving a bit for this time of year every month is brilliant! And finally, I'm glad you got to close your computer a bit:) In the past little while I have decided to catch up on blogs only a few times a week. Sure, I miss out on some stuff, but I make sure to hit my faves and it gives me the break from the internet that I need:) Happy Weekend!
