YES. When friends run their first races, big or small, I get that runner's high feeling all over again...it's amazing! To see others crush goals ranks in the top of things that bring me joy. :) Congrats, Keyani!!!

Hehe, I love that you left that picture up for all to see. Why? You're beautiful, of course! :)

You make a really good point on the blood thinners, because, technically, that makes sense. I wonder, though, if it's possible that you're on just the right amount? I've heard that at a certain point (meaning a certain level of thinners) your blood pressure can be too low to take on running. Maybe you hit the jackpot. ;)

SO happy you're finding this surprisingly easy! Makes for a happier you, I'm sure!!

I knew you were one of my favorite bloggers...this just adds to the numerous reasons why.

So you know I'm not a fan of CrossFit...but this is your blog. You write about who you are, what you love...your passions. I love that you post about Congo. I love when you post about running. I may not always comment on your blog (I'm terrible about keeping up with that), but I read it pretty much every day. (Even your CF posts.) What I love about your blog is your passion and your all-around happy, driven, and compassionate writing. :)

LOVE what Brian did for Krysten! And she's such a gorgeous person (inside and out, of course). (PS: LOVE your jacket!!!!)

I need to menu plan/prep more. Although, I'm getting better about what happens when I'm having recipe-block: big, giant salads.

I love yoga. LOVE it. And I don't do it often enough.

PS: I'm over-reactive and stressed out most days. lol

I've come back to this post a couple of times, not because I'm too busy or whatever...but because I can't quite put my finger on the words I want to say.

I have a hard time with posts like these because on any given day it's sort of easy for my to mention how *I* can relate. Me. Some days, I feel selfish speaking about *me* and how *I* can relate. Posts like these are the ones that make me feel that way, simply because I hate when others try to downplay or "beat" what's up. When all I want is a hug. (Am I making sense? See...*I*.)

What you're feeling is completely and totally understandable. You're a runner. You run. It's what you do, and suddenly something happens that takes it right out from underneath you. Unexpectedly...with no time to prepare yourself. I've been amazed at your patience, to be honest with you. I would have complained on my blog by now. Haha. You're human, Heather, and you have the right to put whatever it is that you're feeling out there. Whether it's here on your blog, on Facebook, or IRL. Top missing running with a condition that worries you??? Heck yeah you deserve to be feeling this way! You've been so...real about this - you're a champ!

Just know you have a heck of a lot of us on your side and are totally cool with you expressing whatever it is you need to express. I'm thinking about you and sending you lots of love.

I couldn't believe they made you sit that long...with that many people ahead of you!!! Did they ever say what the hold-up was?

I'm not a big fan of the bolted together waiting room chairs, either. lol I feel far too close to the person sitting next to me.

I'm so sorry that the news wasn't what you wanted to hear. I know that can be frustrating. I am glad they've given you some pretty legit thoughts/suggestions, though. I wish I could give you a big hug! (As far as the endometriosis, I don't want to go into that, because I know it's super personal for some, but I have two other friends with severe cases of it. I'm so sorry you have to endure that pain. I can't imagine.)
