Thanks for the awesome list of read alouds! I'm always looking for new, fun stories to tell to elementary school age kiddos!

I LOVE this version of 5 Little Monkeys! My story time kids would probably mutiny if we didn't do Five Little Monkeys, but this at least changes it up!

I'm intrigued by the physical activity component... Not sure how to incorporate it, but I like the idea. Currently we record book titles for the younger children and we record minutes read for the older readers, but I wonder if it would be easier to just record by minutes because the children are familiar with this recording method from school. I'm interested to know what method your library will choose to record reading. Encouraging a daily reading time makes a lot of sense.
