Personally (maybe I'm biased) but I think cursive is really important. It's really a shame that they stopped teaching it in public school. I am teaching all my kids. In my experience, learning cursive first not only made print easier (printing was really really difficult for my kids) but it has other developmental advantages. Learning cursive is like learning an art.

Are you guys taking a break for the summer? Taking some time to chase balls outside and such?

I am so glad to hear that your project was funded. I can't wait to read the new book!

Wow, what great pictures! I hate NYC for the same reasons you do. Actually, I am a city phob, and try to stay out of them. Thus, I have only been once, and that's enough. One hate I would add is prices.

Whew.

However, I saw the vagina monolouges there and I would love love to go back. There is no other art scene like NYC.

Hrumpf.

Are you Mormon? You said Heavenly Father in a post, and it was a dead giveaway. I am also Mormon. Thanks so much for adding me on Bloglovin. It's nice to meet you.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! You stopped by and left the link for your working at home blog (which I need). I need to make money. However, I saw that you homeschool! Let's connect on this level as well. I just love homeschooling.

I also have a homeschool linkup. There are great resources, much more experienced homeschoolers who link up. Maybe you can get some great ideas!

Hey,

It's been forever. I didn't know you were pregnant! Congratulations!

I had 3 successful homebirths so I have picked up a bit about having a natural experience. If there is a probabem with the pregnancy, ultrasounds can be lifesaving (very small percentage of the cases). I think ultrasounds are invasive (the baby can hear the sounds and will move away from the probe). I think what makes them even more dangerous are the ways doctors use the results. They will use the results to force you into doing things that are unhealthy. Are you delivering in a hospital with a doctor or hospital midwife?

I have some books on my blog about natural pregnancy, birth, postpartum herbs that you really may find useful. It may be worth taking a look. There is also the book - The Business of Baby - What doctors won't tell you and corporations try to sell you - that is absolutely wonderful.

Congratulations again!
