I've got a weird fascination with cults. Not weird like i plan on ever running away and joining one, but fascinated in the sense that I enjoy reading and watching movies about them. The idea of cults and cult followers just seem so abstract to me that i feel like i need more information to properly understand that way of life and why people choose it. I'm glad, you with your sick (and hope free) imagination ( YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU) were able to enjoy this one and i can't lie that i'm pretty intriguied. If only because of the cult aspect alone. Lovely review Jess.

Haha, i love this new, clever, feature!
The cover kind of reminds me of the cover for Jackaby (i think that's the books title) so i'm not a hundred percent sold on it since it doesn't look all that orignal to me. Sorry to hear about the abundance of two star reviews.

Jeann you're making me want to attend a bookfest ASAP! LOL, i miss the vibe of those places!

Also, amazing haul! I recently got The Night Circus too so i'm interested in hear what you think of it. Gillian Flynn novels are always amazing and i've heard nothing but good things about Finding Aubrey and an Ember in the Ashes.

I'm terrible at this. I have so many books on my shelves that I just don't care for anymore but i haven't gotten rid of them yet. it's terrible because I should be getting rid of them. I mean...I don't want to read them anymore. I don't have any emotional ties to them...but it's hurts to think about giving books away. LOL. See...i'm a terrible book lover. I'm far to selfish!

Jess! My love <3 First let's discuss books: i'm sorry to hear that Becoming Rain got a 2 star rating out of you, I think I was one of the nagging Nancy's who kept pushing the book on you. Damn it. This blows but considering you've got a few titles on this list that also recieved the 2 star treatment i'm blaming you and your abnormally high standards when it comes to reading for this crisis. Not me. *wink* Also,"A boy who is smooth as hell," ----I NEED TO MEET THIS SMOOTH BOY. It feels like my life's calling.

Over here in Canada Spy comes out on Friday (it's weird now, American movies are playing in almost every country BUT America for the first few weeks of their release) but nevermind that, once I watch it i'll be messaging you all my favourite lines from the film. Melissa McCarthy is GOLD. Also, i wasn't the biggest fan of Women in Gold but have you seen the trailer for Self/Less with Ryan Reynolds? It's his other attempt at serious.

My god Jess you made my brain hurt. Too many big and fancy words and not enough coffee in my system. OKay, i'm going to try and write an adequate response. Please, bare with me. I've had it engrained in me since I was young to always present an image of myself. That doesn't mean i'm not allowed to be real or that my parents have pressured me to be fake out of embarrasment or anything. It's just that they've always taught me to be self aware. To realize when I should I a certain way and around who. In real life for example, i'm not going to speak like I do when i'm with my friends when i meet my father's busincess associates. That would be bad for everyone. Do I feel fake when i speak to men dressed in expensive suits? No. Maybe just a bit too polite (but i can't help that can i?) The internet is sort of the same thing. When I tweet, write blog posts and review books i strive to be as politically correct as possible. It seem like on the internet eveyrone is just waiting to call someone else out. It's terrible and incredibly frightening. And i've noticed myself backspace while writing my reviews or blog posts when I feel like I could say something a bit controversal without meaning too. It's a hindrance.
