Hey!! I'm still here!! :) It was so nice to see this post from you! The longest I took off from running was after my first marathon, I took off like 2.5 months, the thought of running was nauseating to me but then I got back into it and it was great. I also took about 5-6 weeks off after I had Ashton since I had a c-section, coming back after that was MUCH tougher, but after the first few weeks I was feeling good. You will get there, the key is to be patient with yourself and not to push yourself too fast and too far...the slow build is where it's at.. You've got this!!

Another cold?? Boo! I'm sorry you have to readjust your races but I think you have a well thought out plan and recognize where you need to focus your efforts on and that is really more than half the battle. I love the 1/2 distance (and it works so much better for me from an injury perspective) so I look forward to seeing how the training for your upcoming races goes. Feel better Kristy and have a wonderful week!

These are all great tips, the one I wish I knew was the no cotton one, I never really owned any tech shirts, even though I worked out for YEARS! I always wore cotton tops--now, I think I may only own one or two cotton workout tops and I never wear them for workout out!

I don't really cook, but soup is my downfall. I could eat soup every single day (and usually do at least 3 days a week) and be totally satisfied, so I am going to check this book out!! Thanks for sharing!!

I haven't heard of this one, I am generally not a fan of fairy tales...more YA, dystopian, or romance type books but I could give it a try!

I'd be happy with all of them, but I do wish I lived in Utah for the race series.

Oh gosh, reading this gave me so much anxiety. I am not a procrastinator, I am that person who always likes to work ahead so I never feel behind (something that came in really handy in school!) Waiting until the last minute gives me so much anxiety I get paralyzed. But like I always say, everyone has different ways of getting things done and you clearly can execute perfectly even with a little chaos!! It's also great you have such great family around to help you!!
