Ugh. I get the worst tailbone/hip pain with every pregnancy. Doing cat-cows can help alleviate some of the pain as it moves the baby off of that spot for a bit. Not that you can be doing that all day, though, but it is worth it when things are bad to drop on all fours for a bit. ;)

Hope everything is still intact! ;)

The colors in your quilt are just so soothing. I haven't done hand stitching for quilts in such a long time. That is a good idea for relaxing in the evening.

Haha, yes! #makelinkupsgreatagain :-D

We were all about running around naked outdoors, playing in the mud when I was little too. I mean, it certainly saves you on laundry! Maybe it's not so bad after all.....?? ;)

Congratulations, Rosie! I learned to drive on a 15 passenger van. They're not as bumbling as they look. ;)

That book looks very interesting. It seems there has been a lot written as of late on the issue of aging. It is important topic for our time as many more people are living to an older age.

How wonderful to knit on your porch! Stopping by from the Yarn Along..... :)

Oh wow. I did not realize that could happen after weaning. I, too, experienced this after my youngest stopped breastfeeding and I had no idea why. I figured it was some hormonal shift, but I didn't know it was actually a "thing". Thanks for sharing about your experience, Ashley!

I'm just finishing up #9 for the year thus far, too (Brene Brown's "Rising Strong" that I waited about half a year for from the library).
Have you read the Popcaks' book, 'Parenting with Grace'? I read through it last year but it is definitely one of those resources on the shelf that I will continue returning to as the kids get older. They really do have some great gems in there. I'll have to pick up the Birds and the Bees one soon.

Keep up the good work and happy reading!!

I'm facing this with works of philosophy. I used to love to read and have deep intellectual thoughts and discussion but now I feel as if my brain has turned to mush. Maybe I will give it a try....slowly, slowly.
It's true, though, falling out of the habit really is the main culprit for lack of ability.

I know you're talking about candy alternatives in your post, but CHOCOLATE is my all-time favorite filler (or any other time). ;)

That jersey midi-skirt is perfection! I love flowy skirts.
Another company that does great skirts is Lands' End. I love their a-line jersey skirts. I live in them during the summer. Ones like this: http://www.landsend.com/products/womens-sport-kni...
