Never seen a Dilli wedding but have heard the description from many people. Wedding in Maharashtra are more about rituals than other 'Tam-Jham'. I always prefer weddings that are more rooted towards rituals than other factors.

I can feel your anger pouring out through this post and rightly so. Some people in India still live in the dark ages. I really wonder how these khaaps cannot see the agony and the humiliation of the women in their own families. Excellent letter.

Yes this has happened to me when my relationships with some of my very good friends changed.

I feel that things keep happening in everyone's life. Some can handle it and some cannot. The key is to not expect too much but walk your own path and do your own thing. You will make new friends along the way. Some relationships last for a life time and some even if it has a lot of promise right now might vanish in some time.

You seem to be 'washed hands following MMS'. I have only seen some 10 minutes of some Big Boss season. That show failed to appeal me.

But on the other hand if MMS did get a chance to be in Big Boss, he will surely get time to introspect on his actions.

Enjoyed your post and it is so true with the men hating shopping except when they have to buy gadgets like phones or a camera.
I have never shopped online for clothes but I always order books from Flipkart. It is easy and cheaper.
