I live in a one bedroom apartment and hired a cleaner last year. It was the best decision my husband and I have made! She comes every two weeks, so for the cost of an extra fancy dinner date each month, we now come home every other Friday to a spotless house and get to actually enjoy our home, rather than wasting precious time off of work cleaning it. Good move!

I have banked with TD for years and have never had anything but positive experiences with them. Even through complicated things like selling Canadian property while living overseas, investing, withdrawing funds...it's all been great. I've also banked with Royal Bank, CIBC, international banks and brokerages and TD has beat all of them out, consistently. I'm sorry you had a bad experience and hope that it's sorted out now.
It's called gypsy cab and they are in most major cities - I've seen gypsy cab drivers at JFK and in Miami, most recently. They usually are OK but, as the above commenter noted, they are illegal and not regulated. They are also not tracked. There are warnings all over the major airports about this - maybe it's a fairly new thing at YYZ. Absolutely watch your credit card statements!
