I haven't read any of these! Here In Harlem sounds especially interesting. I'm also not much of a poetry fan, but I'd like to reintroduce myself to it.

This looks like a great list of books! I have a copy of A Man Called Ove--my husband loved it--but I haven't read it yet.

Lovely crocuses! I hope the snow is finally over for the year.

I've never heard of ringette before! I just looked it up. We don't have anything like that here. Interesting!

Dairy Queen sounds particularly interesting to me. Part of my real-life work focuses on women playing traditionally male sports, like football and wrestling. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Yes, more about Rilla would be nice!

Wow, that's a lot of snow! We're having unusually cold and icy conditions, but not much snow (thankfully). I organize an early Spring 5K fundraiser, so my fingers are crossed that we thaw out soon!

I haven't read Lena Dunham's book, but many people have recommended it to me. I'm reluctant to read it. I've never really related to her either.

Great list! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed We Were Liars. There is a lot I liked about it (like the references to King Lear), but the story ended up being too unbelievable for me.

I don't think there's anything wrong with choosing Anne of Green Gables as your top read. It has been one of my favorite reads since I was a small child (and now my redheaded daughters love it too!).

Thanks for mentioning the graphic novel. I don't read many graphic novels or much science fiction, but my sister reads both. I'm always looking for new books to give her as gifts.

I actually gave up on it before it even began. The Forward really dissuaded me from continuing with it. Now just isn't the time for me to read this book. Someday I'll get around to it.

Yeah, people tell me to read Lord of the Rings, even though it isn't the type of book I'm likely to read.

Another one people always tell me to read--A Tree Grows In Brooklyn--I'll finally cross off my extensive TBR list soon (I started it today). I have no idea why it's taken me so long to read it.
