I have zero problems with predictability. Like you said, you read enough books and it's going to get easy to guess where it's going. But if the author is able to make me emotionally attach to a character, that's pretty much all that matters. Honestly, I also read If I Stay when the second book was already out and it didn't make a difference in the slightest. I still sobbed through practically every moment after the car accident that was in the present.

Of course sometimes an author can throw me for a loop and then I'm just reeling and so shocked and loving it, but I don't expect that every time. I just need to connect with the book emotionally to like it.

I also have a hard time recommending books. What if they don't like it!?!? It stresses me out. there are very few people that I will actually recommend books to, despite the fact that I read a lot of books..lol

Oh TV. I definitely don't normally watch much TV. This fall is actually different than normal for me because there are a lot of shows that I've been watching. Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D., The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Once Upon a Time and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Soon I will have Game of Thrones and True Blood, but they at least don't overlap.

Netflix doesn't help though because there are some shows that I watch on there and watch a whole season at once. Right now I'm watching Bones, Doctor Who and Sherlock. And I'm waiting for Heartland to be put on there..lol. I still seem to get a lot of reading done though, somehow. I like to alternate TV and reading nights..lol

I only have a few series that I've DNF'd. Mainly Hush, Hush and Halflings, both angel series. There are a lot of series I'm caught up with though and a lot that I've finished and others that I really like and need to get working on..lol

I should make a list like this..

Yes! I absolutely love maps! I was reading Dark Triumph and when I opened it up it had a really great map in it, so of course I had to take a picture and tweet about how I knew it was going to be a good book when I saw a map ;)

I agree, it feels like the author has put in a lot more thought into the whole world. I'm always excited to see a map because I don't think I've hated a book yet with one. I'm currently reading Crown of Midnight and was pouring over that map a bit when I started, evne though I thoroughly checked it out when I read Throne of Glass.

I've heard that Pushing the Limits is good, so really want to read that. Never heard of the other one before, but it sounds good!
