I would lean toward arrogant even more than ignorant . Yes, she is ignorant, I agree. But she also has a cadre of intelligent, experienced advisors around her now. I work in marketing and advertising and design - there are no accidents, trust me. People make mistakes, but putting crosshairs on the map with the names and districts of particular candidates/representatives was not an accident. The selection of images, colors, and language on materials for her PAC are not hers and likely go through rounds of revision and approval before they are finalized. Someone in her camp thought this was a meaningful image that would resonate with her supporters. And they were not wrong. They are assholes for doing it, but they were not wrong in their representation of many of their supporters. Palin is not the root problem. She's just gleefully riding the wave and stirring the pot while cashing in for personal gain.
Sarah Palin and her merry band of lunatics need to be brought down - peacefully and politically. Those that fan the flames of ignorance and hate should be stopped. We need to call a spade a spade here and not mince words about what is going on in our country.
No, especially not for the James Patterson novel I'm sure to pick if I ever get a chance to host.
I'm in, but I do think three weeks is short for some longer, denser reads. I think it will be fun*!
*I am a nerd.
I watch this show once in awhile... (and had the same reaction when I first saw a commercial for it).
That would be awesome. No one will ever do it, but I'm all for it! Maybe we can Skype will drinking and eating food made from the recipes of others.
Thanks so much! I'll make it and post it. Part of my 2011 "The Year of Living Deliciously" campaign includes cooking more at home, making the time to prepare really delicious food. I need to break out of the rut I'm in with food.
Your addition made me think of something: do you have a good bread pudding recipe? I am on a quest for a great homemade bread pudding recipe.
This looks fantastic! I am going to make it for sure. Can I skip the glaze and not ruin the whole affair?
