Root beer tastes weird and medical to a lot of Brits, specifically, like the dentist's. I don't know why, or what British dentists do, to make this so. But it might explain the bad associations Brits have to the taste of root beer.

I would like to stan for Middlemarch's ending, because I love it, and it really is an ending for adults: it's about how heroism isn't necessarily about doing ONE BIG SHOWY THING, it's about how there are people who live heroic lives in less conspicuous ways, and how Dorothea spent her life making things better for the people around her in small ways that we really ought to value more, because their cumulative effect is incalculable. I for one, find this enormously comforting.

A dude made a creepy comment at my six year old daughter on the bus. She was confused and uncomfortable. I cried in secret for days, thinking "It's started. I thought she'd get longer."

Thank you!! It's terribly sad of me that I had to remake it just to change the remix of Pictures of You to the original. And it didn't go past Frank Sinatra for me, so I ended up finishing it... sigh...
