I'm in the same program (different school!). That's awesome you don't have to take the GRE! I took it the weekend my husband deployed- NOT a good idea. haha But I guess it all worked out. Good luck with your new endeavors!

Oh my goodness! Allergies are so annoying. I'm glad you're okay. I had an allergic reaction on our one year anniversary and spent it laid up on the couch in hives. For better or worse! :)

Hear, Hear! I'll drink to that. Well, actually...you'll have to drink for me ;) We have very similar stories and I really admire your positivity that has evolved.

Glad to hear you made it safely. You've been one busy mama! Is Ashlynn's injury bothering her much? I hope not!

Not too much planned this weekend. One of my buddies from college is coming to visit me, though. :)

I've been wondering if you were headed out. I can't imagine the stress you're feeling traveling with a dog, kids, and no set itinerary - thanks Navy, right? You're strong and going to handle it all just fine.

This is a beautiful post because it really shows the emotions that come with being stationed over there as an American. I'm so sorry that you're dealing with unconcerned family while also being worried about the safety of your family and your future there in Japan. You are still in my prayers!
