Wow, your salad looks great! I love all the different colors, and I'll definitely have to try your salad topper recipe soon. Do you remember the amount of ingredients you used for your smoothie? I really want to try to up my iron by eating more adding some blackstrap molasses and dried figs into my diet (I already eat lots of leafy greens + legumes). I'm CRAZY about kale just like you. My favorite way to eat it is by sautéing it until crispy in a pan and then adding a little gf soy sauce. Delicious!

Girl I don't know how you do it! Your green smoothies always look so delicious and pretty. Mine always look like swamp monsters hehe. Your lunch looks awesome, too. I love fresh salads and fruit.

I took a bloging break this weekend, too. Sometimes a little technology detox is in order to make you feel refreshed. I'm always glad to read your posts but totally understand when you need some time away. Bloggers are people afterall! Your salad looks delicious by the way :). I always make up my own orders, too hehe.

My mom would be vegan except she eats fish, so you definitely aren't alone! I don't eat fish, but I did before I was vegan. My grandmother usually made me blackened salmon by coating it in a dry rub and cooking it in a non-stick pan with a little bit of olive oil. Honey + dijon mustard is another good combination when baked. Just make sure you don't over or under cook the salmon! I'm sure you will do wonderfully, and your family will love your meal! I'd definitely be game for the bean salad and sweet potato fries---YUM! I'm so excited you're making my blueberry cornbread recipe. A word of caution: it makes a very small amount so double or even triple it if you are serving more than 2. Also, I think adding a bit of coconut oil or coconut butter would be absolutely lovely for a buttery taste. But then again I think coconut is amazing in just about anything :D. Good luck and have a lovely night~

I make my own roasted nut butters but leave the raw ones (my fav!) to the pros. Maranantha has the best! By the way, your salads look crazy delicious! Now I'm totally craving some veggies (but when am I not? haha). Do you use any salad dressings?

I generally like my veggies steamed, but I definitely try to eat raw foods whenever possible. I'm a huge fan of fruits, raw nuts/nut butters, and green smoothies. I think it's nice to have a balance between both raw and cooked foods, but raw is especially refreshing in the summer.

I totally fail at grilling tofu, but every time I have it, I think it's delicious regardless! There's something so wonderful about grilling in the summer. Grilled veggies are my favorite! Your dinner looks so wonderful and fresh. Now I want to go fire up my grill.

I'm practically a fish I love swimming so much! My family has a cottage that is right on the lake; when I was younger, I would spend upwards of 8 hours in the lake. It's always just for fun, though. What kind of tempeh do you buy? And how do you prepare it? I go through phases where I either love it or hate it. I can't seem to find the right brad or method to love it all the time!
