I wrote a kind of tongue in cheek post on this topic, "Double Sinks in The Master Bath -- Must We Have Them? Really?" http://wp.me/p1sXPw-Xv My main point is that it is another feature that is heavily marketed but people might not really need it or use it the way it's intended. To each their own -- especially in the bathroom. If remodeling, think about how your use and what you actually do in the bathroom and how much stuff you'll keep there. I can see how they would be very convenient for some couples. For singles it's a waste. For resale value? I don't know, if the heavy marketing of the double sinks is continued we might all have to have them just to sell the house. But that would be a shame. Then you see shows where a bathroom is remodeled to put in double sinks and there's no room for make-up, hair products or place to sit your toothpaste, lotion, or razor for a minute. One people will really love the two sinks. If given a choice some might prefer using that space for counter space or storage. I like the two bathroom idea. Like thee olden days.

Sometimes I'll Google something random and then get engrossed in it. Recently it's been Chinese Foot Binding. Suddenly all this information, complete with graphic pictures, pops up and I'm mesmerized. is this something I need to know right now? No. Is there going to be a test? No. But if it interests me now and makes me think, then you're right, it is not a waste of time. I teach my children random facts about various topics, too. I figured they'll make some money in bars playing trivia games or something. And you never know when these odd facts could be useful in writing or conversation. You just never know.

I like number 8, cracked me up. Plus, anything Stephen King has to say to meaningful.

No worries. Sometimes you have to step back and experience life. Your writing will reflect that. I'm happy for your extended vacation and travel. It sounds wonderful.

I love seeing some one who can stand in front of a mic and sing, really sing, engage the audience and give us chills. I love seeing live musicians on stage backing a singer up. I'm not hating on the big dance productions with the fantastic sets, it just doesn't do it for me. Often the lead is swallowed up in the hype-- or instead of listening I find myself just hoping that the artist doesn't fall (Katy) . If Adele were thin and gave that performance last night, it would have been just as moving, like Whitney in her prime. But Adele doesn't need to change a thing, not a thing. She has the pipes, she has the songs. But I do appreciate seeing women of all shapes and I love the music. Adele is a force, I'm so happy for her. I think she is good for us. Very good. Great post.

Great post. Perhaps (when it next becomes relevant for me) I should print it and put it in a prominent place like the medicine cabinet mirror, or laminate it and use it as a coaster or place mat?

Oh my gosh, Jagged Little Pill, screaming in the car to "You Outta Know" (I also did that one at karaoke bars, too) . That is a great album, let it play, no need to skip tracks -- and it has different meanings at different times in my life. Should be in everyone's collection.

Damn, I got so caught up I didn't even pay attention to your gender. So I say to you, the Wife, "Brava."

Whoa. What I like best about this post is that you were clear about narrowing the focus. Your disclaimer is perfect. You are talking about women who pursue married men in a way that would result in what the wife would consider cheating. So perfectly identified. And I also love the fact that you were clear that the topic of this post is the women who pursue married men. It is refreshing that you don't try to be so all inclusive in a single post. Genders are equal intellectually, but some experiences and social considerations are just different. It is okay to discuss them separately. Bravo. Really. So refreshing. It doesn't negate the existence of the gender opposite issue when only one scenario is discussed at a time. It just makes the discussion more directed, focused and relevant. Bravo.
