Lol, I'm all about buying in bulk if it'll save money. A few years ago during lent I bought a 10 pound box of fish, and my family thought I'd never finish it (I lived alone at the time). I was definitely sick of eating it by the time it was gone, but I proved them wrong! ;) The nice thing about having a lot of one thing is that it definitely makes you get a little more creative in the kitchen (who wants to have the same recipes over and over again?)!

I love your posts because you remind me of exercises I haven't done in awhile! I need to tell my hubby to do the goblet squats, because I think they'd really be a better way for him to strengthen his quads for running, for the reasons you mentioned.

I love pushups because of how great my whole upper body feels after I do them!

This morning I actually made a strawberry protein breakfast souffle that I LOVE but for some reason haven't made in months: http://lifewithcheeseburgers.com/2012/04/16/straw...

And I definitely am going to try the kettleball squat--I've done something similar and I actually think it feels really good!

You know, I always WANT to like lemon but...I just can't. This recipe sounds amazing and I'm SURE my family would love it! Just not for me (sigh).

The carrot cake oatmeal is right up my alley though--and I would definitely buy the pre-diced carrots. There aren't many days when I'd be patient enough to do it myself ;)

Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you!

Your main exercises are pretty close to what I like to do; today was a squat and deadlift day. I have been trying to shake it up a little more by varying my stance though--amazing how sore your muscles can get just from some small changes!

You know, I've heard of farmers walks but never thought about them that much until now. I'm definitely going to start doing these so I can up my deadlifts!! I'm going to be soo bad-ass pretty soon ;) ;)

I'm so glad I was introduced to your blog! I write about food, faith, and family on mine so I think I'm going to find lots of great stuff here too :)

I just wrote a post with some Lenten ideas for both physical and spiritual health: http://lifewithcheeseburgers.com/2012/02/23/what-...

You rock! When I first started I couldn't squat very much at all, but I'm close to my own bodyweight now...my goal is to get well over that :)
