And I really, really loved Truth and Beauty--a wonderful memoir, which I'll never forget.

For the boarding school list, I loved the rather dark Tana French detective novel that digs deeply into the lives of students at two boarding schools in Ireland. So why can't I remember the title. I'm no help at all. But it is a very, very good one.
At the top of my list, I guess would be the word "gothic." Anything gothicky sends me over the top to read it. I discovered gothic fiction at age 15 and she still seems to live inside me.

And I adore Georgie. My favorite was The Twelve Clues of Christmas, but I've heard a lot about this one, and must add it to my pile. While reading challenging Classics, I always like lighter reads. This would be perfect!
