Whoa, I really like this! I really like the beginning, immediately it makes me wonder why it's so cold and where could this person possibly be. The ending of the snippet is interesting because I really want to know where this person is and what's happening around them. Why is she in shock? I want to know more!

I've been seeing reviews for this everywhere. It sounds kind of interesting so I want to give it a go, but to be honest, I do hate it when the main character isn't very likeable and all judgy. I guess I will be keeping an open mind and lower my expectations

I realised the same thing a while back, I would buy books because they were on sale, the cover was pretty or because I had heard it was amazing. But then I was left with no room on my bookshelf and a ton of books I had no interest in reading... I ended up selling them all for a fraction of the price I bought them... I love books and my dream one day is to have a library 'room' in my house where I own lots of book I love and can lend out to friends and family. But as of right now, I have no point in owning all of these books because I don't even own my own house yet let alone have space for books. Plus I'm at the stage in my life where I'm travelling and constantly moving countries so I can't lug all of these books around... Hoarding books is so easy to do though!

I definitely have noticed that blogging has changed me as a reader. When I started my first book blog a few years ago I noticed I would read more, I had more books to read because I was suddenly discovering all of these books and the way I read changed. Just like you I started analysing the books I was reading and trying to figure out why I felt the way I did about it.

Blogging has definitely changed reading for me!
