Dear Ms. Westwood,
Since the election I’ve been trying to find some thing to write about because I have just spent four years doing my utmost to motivate a crowd of people who are not liberals or democrats to vote one day vote for a guy who in fact was, but I knew could do a 35% better job than the person in that job now. I’m a realist, and if you ever get around to it please rent the movie called “Father Goose” and you’ll meet a guy not unlike me in it as portrayed by a guy named Carrie Grant. I’ve long known that people don’t generally learn from history, thus the repetitious nature of it, but they do falsely believe that if only they can alter “this or that” tomorrow will only lead to greener pastures for what ever they are advocating for.
Take your recent letter in the WSJ. You proclaim to understand as a female second year college student, (no bias or real experience there), that if only the Republican Party abandons it’s base then all will be well and we would go on to electoral victory. Well, let’s assume we do. Then “they” form a viable third party and then the wealthy republicans join in with the Democrats. Then you end up right back where you started from, but only worse. Ma’am, you will grow up in a terribly divided and thermo-nuclear armed and bankrupt nation because those that came before you thought of you as a walking vote with a vagina to be prostituted for that purpose. They passed laws to make it so white males could not function in a society that would deem them as either slave owners or abusers of women or only useful for specific purposes only to be discarded when unneeded by either our wives or our society; Hollywood does a fantastic job of pumping your young mind with this archetype and all of you bought into it “hook, line, and sinker.” Now you sit there and pen a letter that the Republican party ought to abandon that base on the foundation of a mind filled with more liberal propaganda then the Village Voice and the New York Times combined?
Ma’am the Republican Party has come back from far worse. It came back after 20 years of destruction, and it will one day rise from the ashes again. Human beings are susceptible to being led and lied to by charismatic, good looking, well spoken political leaders. Kings, Dictators, and Presidents all aspire to the same goals. Maintaining power for as long as possible to get their friends and henchman paid off. It has zero to do with the functional reality of abortion or gay marriage - or whatever issue becomes the fad of the decade - as soon as it becomes a fad ma’am you can bet some politician will be advocating for it because he or she senses that a crowd has formed and they can co-opt it to further their own political ends, by whatever backstabbing methods they need to deploy, up to and including, murder with a car to make it look like an accidental drowning. Ted Kennedy is some swimmer! He could of been in the Navy! Good thing his brother was!
I would like to give you some advice. Join the Democratic Party. Then wait your turn, because that party does not operate on merit. Get an abortion when you want. Spend money you do not have. Smoke marajuana. Enjoy your vagina to all comers! Have fun! And if by some miracle you do decide to bring a child into this world; please make sure you have them watch Sesame Street and that pedophile that plays Elmo can corrupt your children into believing that the world is full of nice people who want to give you everything if you just let them take pictures of you in the showers at summer camp; as one of these people once tried to force me to do, I said no, and got him fired. I wasn’t a Republican than, but I knew right from wrong. Live your life like the “Sandra Flukes” of the world want then after a decade of that the Republican Party will welcome you with open arms. Until that time you can count on one thing. This party is just getting started.

May I ask you a stupid question . . . :) . . . Did you ever start a business? Did you ever try to convince someone to buy a product, other than malarky? Did you ever go online and do those forms with regard to opening a business? Have to answer that really dumb question “Does this business manufacture or distribute, alcohol, tobacco, or firearms?
I wonder if Eric “Fast and Furious” Holder ever read that last part?
I know this line of questioning is stupid. Because Americans know the answers. The answer is no. You’ve done none of this, and it shows, other than gun running and to do that you had to become President! I have no such ambition. Guys like me, at this point in the “Obama Depression” just want to keep food on the table stay out of the clink and avoid people like you because all you do is make people broke or dead. That is a skill set I happily lack. So does Mr. Romney who the American people desperately want to elect to lead the “Romney Recovery!”
You see, the American people have a very refined dipstick for malarky. These debates have demonstrated that you, and the liberal media are full of it, Ms. Crowley should have just hopped up on the table with a set of cue cards and given you a gold star at the end of that debate at Hofstra. Further, that Mr. Romney possess the character, competence, and the raw capability to sit in a chair that had we left empty these last four years we all would have been better off.
While at times we have let our guard down and allowed citizens who share your perverted views on liberty, and the free market, to inhabit that office “We The People” are wide awake and raring to go now, just like we were in 2010. Why you ask are we so agitated? Because we innately sense that this is a point in history that will be looked back on as a “to be or not to be” moment in American history.
“We The People” have the rarest of opportunities to get the right citizen, into the most important job, at the right time.
We will.

Many proven methods work to prevent crime, a solid basic education in how to behave in civil society, economic growth, engaged and active parents, etc. But the most effective methods that exist for reducing crime is self defense and long term humane incarceration for those who cannot coexist peacefully with their fellow citizens. New York State concealed carry law is a mess - some counties provide permits to law abiding citizens with out much hassle while others, “you have to know somebody.” Fix this and you’ll have a safer society. Don’t get me wrong - have stringent rules and requirements that are not capricious for the officials as well as the applicants, but stop deluding yourselves in thinking that permit holders and firearms are in and of themselves the enemy - the opposite is true - concealed carry holders are the most productive and law abiding segment of society. Florida maintains excellent statistics on this point - less then one hundredth of one percent of all permit holders has ever committed any crime in its entire thirty year history of concealed carry! Before Elliot Sptitzers behavior was detected he let 200 murderers out of prison. These people did not steal a loaf of bread to feed their children - THEY KILLED AND RAPED PEOPLE. Fix this and you’ll have a safer society. Bring back the death penalty for criminals that take an officers life.
Please stop attacking me and my fellow firearms owners we neither deserve your ire or your ad hominem attacks. Focus your efforts on what works and not what will get any of you reelected, stop using firearms as a means to win votes in an effort to demonstrate to your misguided constituents that you can save them from violent crime if only they surrender more of their forgotten liberty, when the opposite is true - even they at some point will recognize your hypocrisy for what it is.

Every year some new idea about how to make our streets safer via “Gun Control” arrives in New York. We’ve registered our guns. Violent crime continues. We’ve banned assault weapons. Violent crime continues. We ballistically identify our legally possessed pistols. Violent crime continues. There are 200 to 300 million firearms in this country - they are woven into the fabric of our society. For all the “wiz bang” technology that modern society has invented - rifles and pistols are still the foundation of our national and state defense. Thousands of times an hour they are used to dissuade another from pursuing an ill advised path; whether in the hand of a police officer or a private citizen. Yes - accidents and tragedies happen, and a mature society must look itself in the mirror and draw the proper conclusions from these horrible events, but to think that by passing law upon law the public at large will somehow be magically made safer via “gun control” is psychotic and dangerous.
I and many of you witnessed the attacks on September 11, 2001. Had those pilots - many of whom were ex military officers - been required to carry a side arm; that day would have ended much differently. Imagine all the lives and treasure that could have been saved but for an irrational fear of the law abiding gun owner. Can any of you honestly say that over the past few decades your collective efforts have made New Yorkers safer? If any of you answered yes then you must take a close look at the FBI statistics on violent crime - you’ll find disappointment waiting for you. No law can urge the lawless to ask permission from anyone for anything. Remember ladies and gentleman criminals, terrorists, and sub human miscreants are dumb, but they are not stupid.
The latest iteration of this policy is the idea that putting a serial number on a bullet casing as it ejects from a semi-automatic pistol will allow law enforcement to detect and thus incarcerate more criminals - this is also referred to as micro-stamping. So let us pretend that all of you are now criminals - how would you alter your behavior to avoid detection? Police your brass. Use a sawed off shotgun. Use a revolver. Gasoline and a match are very effective. Explosives work exceedingly well in motor vehicles. Poison - women seem to prefer this method - Spitzer should hire a food tester. There are very effective ways of killing people that never include a semi-automatic pistol. Not to mention the most obvious trick - remove the firing pin and file off the serializing mechanism. What about something even more devious - picking up used serialized brass at a firing range and place it at the scene of the future crime to throw off the police. Serializing casings of pistol cartridges not only will not work, but it will create more permutations of that section of the population of New York State that are hell bent on killing for profit or psychosis.

“I’m not an Indian!”
Dear President Obama,
If Elizabeth Warren signed up as an Indian, did you sign up as a “Kenyan,” and “Indonesian,” or “other?” Just wondering because when I signed up I checked the box that said “cracker.” Don’t you people on the left think that the Indians got screwed enough? Now you want to hang them with the tenuous connection to a left wing politician that would take them off of the casino and put them back on the reservation. I don’t see much wampum in that, better smoke the peace pipe a few more times and think it all over. One must consider the ramifications of lying to get better treatment on the prospects of getting into a limited set of seats into an education of higher learning, because that never occurred to me. Actually, I should have joined the Air Force out of high school, and gone to college after my service. But that is another matter.
So I’m forced to consider. What enterprising students gave up, or were scammed out of their admission to Harvard because, potentially you, and certainly Ms. Warren lied to gain entry? I’d be a little upset if I were rejected from Harvard because some lying liberal was accepted on the basis of false or inflated information. But that’s just me. Actually it is not just me, it’s the country. You see we all believe in something called merit, we think that if you work hard, achieve academic excellence, and show tremendous promise you should gain access to higher education because you warrant the expense. Conversely, people like me do not, I was forced into it, against my will under threat of physical harm. But you people lie. Wow. What a fouled up world.
So what’s a voter to do hmmmmm . . . That’s a tough call ought I vote for Scott Brown the guy who posed a little bit naked to make a few bucks, (What guy wouldn’t, including me, any one out there know where I can submit a few shots, I’m not half bad looking . . . :) . . .) The notion that we need one more liar in the United States Senate is insane. What a person does when they think no one is looking, and then tries to lie about it, is a window into the character of that person, and this window clearly tells us one thing.
Voting for Scott Brown is the only sane path to take. Just like voting for Mr. Romney to replace you is of primary importance. On that I need not smoke the peace pipe to figure out.
:)

Dear Mr. Obama,
When a black President condones the actions of black r ac i st s he is instigating violence, when his Vice President steps up to the microphone and invokes the horrific imagery of being enslaved by the raw force of iron and steel born on the human spirit as well as the body one can only conclude that he is trying to harvest votes in the same manner those slave owners in the past were demanding they harvest their cotton. One can only dream of what Phyllis Wheatly would think of such ignorance from the first black President. I’ve little doubt she would quickly look upon Mr. Biden and see him for what he is; an idiot miscast in his role by a sleeping public and horrific misfortune. But you Mr. Obama and the rest of your ilk are well aware of your history, and how you consistently pervert it to your twisted and nefarious ends.
One wonders what you Mr. Biden, and Mrs. Clinton, said during the local Mensa meeting. Did you discuss how better to pervert and abuse the American public? Did you discuss a brain transplant for Mr. Biden? Did Mrs. Clinton pull out the shoe polish and then try to make Mr. Biden more authentically “down for the struggle?” Because a recent shooting in South Africa is just one more piece of evidence as to what happens when economics runs afoul of human nature. You see there were, I say were because 30+ of them are dead, these black miners striking because of poor working conditions and pay. In this one I’d be on their side. But, instead of sitting down and working it out, they were slaughtered by black police officers. In the old days one would see an image of white south africans holding Steven Biko without charge only to slaughter him later. What’s your perverted racist, and possibly fascist, form of thinking now say as to this most recent example of what happens when you run out of someone else’s money say to you? It tells me that for all the lefts good intentions all they will do in the end is get me and others k i l l e d for no reason.
I’m not going to sit here and say that some people aren’t full of hate for people for all sorts of reasons. I’m not going to sit here and say I’ve got the perfect solution to the worlds problems. Nor am I going to start carrying around peace signs, smoking dope, and wearing those stupid glasses I wore in high school because I thought that stupid song that John Lennon sang (Imagine) bore some deep hidden truth. I was an idiot then. I even looked like one. One can clearly give that title to Joe Biden now. In fact if it was my job to protect him, which if it was my duty to do I would do so happily and professionally, I would change his code name to “Biko.” Why? To honor those who have actually faced evil and died fighting for good.
The Romney/Ryan team are going to look for Americans of every race, color, and creed, to fill the hundreds of thousands of positions required to get this nation running like it should. They are going to be looking for integrity, competence, and character. America is full of these people. I run into them all of the time in private industry. Even when I’m shopping at Staples for the stuff I need to get my job done and build what I hope is a good idea so I can one day get it on those shelves. I’ve little doubt the customer that buys it is not going to consider the race of the person that made it. Their only concern is going to be does it work?
Well, Sir, the American public are about to apply the same criteria to you, and that idiot Mr. Biden, I have extreme confidence in their ability to recognize the need for a change in leadership. Even Mr. Biden could see the wisdom in that.
Respectfully,
Joe Doakes
