This is heart wrenching Michael. The loss of of a loved one is never easy, whether it is a sudden loss, or an extended illness. I can not imagine what you are going through, worrying about your mom's memory loss progressing. I can say, that you are a wonderful son to have considered rearranging your life immediately to care for your mom. I am deeply touched by this post and your ability to share, in such a beautiful way, a tremendous heartbreak.
