I gave up watching Olympic gymnasts when I turned 17 because I realized I was now older than all the pixies bursting around the stage. (Which means my last big Olympics gymnastics hurrah was Kim Zmeskal's go at it. Poor Kim.)

I have been an unabashed lover of the franchise from the very first installment. Michelle Rodriguez punching that dude was one of the very first GIFs I downloaded onto my desktop.

Re-watching it only brings home the injustice of Rick Yune's career in Hollywood. Why is he not a bigger star?

I don't really think of it as weirdly sexual. I mean, yes, there's some blatant sexual harassment, but teenagers are coming into their sexuality and it doesn't feel as though there's an undue/unrealistic emphasis on that sort of thing. I mean, my high schools didn't look like the cast of a CW show, but there was definitely fooling around going on during sports trips and whatnot.
