talked with my HS 3ex coach and he was talking why Howard is so good at CB.He said he makes himself smaller by croaching covering the wr and he plays outside sidelines to his advantage thus taking away sidelines. The QB misses where he is and qb can't see him and when the qb throws he makes a remarkable break towards the ball which is likely in the middle of field.

shula had great coaches in baltimore such as chuck nole(steeler) and bill arnsburger and i believe webb ubank at one time. g.wilson was a top notch hc with detriot and i believe he won champoinship also

almost like when Shula came to Dolphins in 1970, most of the key players were in place on the verge of excelling with the NFL experience they developed.

I'd draft a QB early next yr for competition for for rookie salary cap . We save time developing qb and are not under pressure to resign performing qb with good promising qb in the waiting. Plus we can trade 1 qb if we have a qb that looks like a franchise qb.

Fitz could gain us draft pick if a team wants a smart qb who could pick offense quickly.

I can remember him in HS and at the U. He stood out to me because he was on the sidelines away from his offensive team on bench watching the game very closely. I noticed on several occasions coaches had to get him in sideline meeting because he was watching game real closely. Maybe that's a good thing but I've never seen anything like it.

interesting St Thomas wasn't ranked high.I know IMG is always a powerhouse along with american hertitage. Most of the pro athletes down here send their kids to st thomas or american hertitage. Hell D Wade sends his kid to american hertitage and his parents live in pinecrest 35-40 miles away.

CBS came out with its first 2020 mock draft with us taking pick #1 as the worst team in the league.
They have us taking a DE Chase Young from Ohio State.

They have Tua going to Oakland with the third pick.
And herbert going to Jax at #6
Fromm drops all the way to GB @ # 21.

If we have the #1 overall I would love the fins to tradedown for a extra pick and address OL/DL/ or maybe CB and maybe QB in 2nd round with all the extra picks. The team would be really cap friendly in addition for high priced FA who would make this franchise very competitive. Lots of qb's are coming out next yr that could be coming from first round.

this helps with the salary cap until we find a franchise qb from either rosen or future qb on a rookie salary.
